As a Weymouth, Massachusetts native Aidan attended Keene State College in pursuit of a Bachelor’s of science in Architecture with a minor in Sustainability. Working on retail, hospitality, and healthcare projects Aidan enjoys the variety in his work and considers himself as always open to opportunity. He is excited about expanding practical experience for his personal portfolio, and is always seeking out new avenues to further his education in the field.

What is the most important tool of your trade, and why?

The most important tool of the Architectural trade for me is listening. The ability to not just hear either clients or project managers, but to be able to understand the information that you’re getting and then putting it to good use. Being relatively new to the field, my number one priority is to listen and learn as much as I can; both to grow professionally and to deliver the best end product I can for our clients.

Describe your dream project.

My dream architectural project is a sports stadium. Sports were of a central importance during my childhood and I’m still an avid sports fan today. The ability to design a space that influences both the players on the field and the fans watching from their seats, giving both a great shared experience, would be an amazing opportunity.

What inspires you most about your field?

What inspires me the most about the field of Architecture is the fact that it is always changing in pursuit of the right answer. You can see the changes all throughout history, even to the proposed designs of the future. The search for perfection is never ending. Everyone can design a space in the way that they think is the best, and there is a chance that each and every design will be the right one. That’s why being client-centric is important, because designing to answer their question is what ensures the happiness of the client and all of the people who inhabit the space.
