Darlene is a self-confessed accounting geek and loves working with numbers! She has more than 25 years of experience in both the public and private sector. She gets immense satisfaction from seeing everything balance. Darlene loves being part of a team, and is a real optimist—making the most of everything, and always seeing the glass as half full.
What is the most important tool of your trade, and why?
I couldn’t do my job without our accounting software. It allows for accurate and efficient support to our clients to make the financial aspect of each project go as smoothly as possible.
What inspires you most about your field?
I love accounting (you probably don’t hear that often)! Accounting is all about balance and allows our business to make more accurate plans for the future. There ‘s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly!
What makes you most proud about being a Phase Zero Design employee?
I’m proud of our team and the quality of the people in our organization. I love getting positive feedback from our clients as our team brings their ideas to life. After many years at PZD, I’m still amazed at how creative and innovative our designers and architects are.
