On October 18th, 2017 American International College began construction for their new Exercise Science Center at 1020 State Street, Springfield MA. This is a two-story 20,200 square foot building that will offer new exercise science programs as well as occupational and physical therapy to the students at AIC.

The signature building will be the first to follow American International Colleges' new Master Plan, providing a new 'face' for the College along busy State Street in Springfield, MA. This new building incorporates advancements in the educational field of the Exercise Sciences, includng a multi-functional Human Performance Labratory, two fully inegrated Exercise Science Labratories, a simulation lab, a BOD Pod (for body composition testing), a phlebotomy lab, additional classroom spaces, and a collaborative administrative/conference suite.
The new facility also includes a multi-functional lobby designed for student gatherings and hosting small events, a variety of interior lounge spaces and a courtyard. The spaces are designed with the goal of supporting student interaction and collaboration between lab and classroom activities.
