Phase Zero Design Plans Two Recreational Marijuana Facilities
Canna Provisions is working with Phase Zero Design to open two recreational marijuana dispensaries in Lee and Holyoke, Massachusetts. These facilities are set to be licensed to open in Fall of 2018, according to Cannabis Control Commission Chairman Steve Hoffman (boston.com). Upon opening, the Holyoke facility alone is intended to bring 20+ jobs to the local community.
Phase Zero Design created the interior and exterior improvements, and the site improvements for the 3,000 square foot Holyoke location and the 2,400 square foot Lee location. At both of these locations Phase Zero Design teamed with Will & Way, Total Cannabis Solutions, of Coventry, CT, to create a comprehensive security and operations plan, collaborate on the layout and interior design features, and develop a unique mobile Point-of-Sale systems and encased storage containers for product display.
Phase Zero Design has been working directly with Attorney John Ferriter of Ferriter & Ferriter LLC of Holyoke, MA in completing the Special Permitting Application process for both locations in order to obtain final licensure to open.
This included obtaining the Community Host Agreement for both locations, overseeing the Special Building Application process for a ‘Zone Change to Operate a Recreational Marijuana Dispensary’ with Public Hearings, and successfully applying for Building and Site Plan Approvals. Both projects are currently undergoing the Building Permit Application review process within their respective cities.
