Crack'd Kitchen

Andover, MA

Crack'd is a culinary-driven, quick-casual eatery. The concept was inspired by the love of the breakfast sandwich and a need to give the community one that they truly deserve. The 1,700 sf flagship location in Andover, MA, will be the first of a New England roll out.

The enhanced dine-in and take out guest experience is enabled by technology and operational design constructed to keep up with high volume. The main design focus is to create a highly functional space that incorporates an egg and breakfast theme, grab n go, and a place of community for their patrons.

More about our restaurant process:

Catalyst Cafe

Cambridge, MA

This 2,500 square foot fast-casual restaurant occupies the ground floor of the 75-125 Binney Street Project, a 386,000 square foot multi-building life sciences complex.

The new restaurant concept is a spin-off to Chef Kovel’s successful Catalyst Restaurant located at Technology Square Cambridge. The design team utilized the fundamental concepts associated with the Catalyst brand including a warm environment with authentic materials while aiming to give Catalyst Café its own identity.

Totto Ramen

Somerville, MA

Totto Ramen’s design is incorporated through sharp color contrast, metal panels, natural wood tones and industrial lighting. The store front features a garage door, opening the space and engaging shoppers to bring the energy of the street traffic into the restaurant.

There are 3 seating zones featured in this restaurant; open seating, counter seating and seating nooks created by the suspended wood trellis designed for added privacy.

American Tap Room

Dulles, VA

Designed to be a sophisticated gathering space, this 2,270 sf restaurant seats 40 people. As an airport project, Phase Zero Design worked closely with many layers of airport authorities to follow their processes and meet all the additional requirements and guidelines.

Under a team mentality, our client, the general contractor and Phase Zero Design collaborated frequently to complete the project.
