Renovations to the College’s main library’s first and second floor mezzanine were contracted to modernize aesthetics, while improving accessibility and functionality of the space.
This remodel consisted of new finishes, furniture, privacy walls, millwork, and in some areas; new ceiling and light fixtures. Two existing restrooms were also updated with new finishes and partitions. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work consisted of replacing light fixtures, new sinks for the cafe, and new HVAC for privacy wall areas and computer labs. The team worked with students and staff to create a collaborative, colorful, and engaging environment. The flag room incorporates the different cultures that make up AIC, by featuring bold colors and collaboration areas.
