Legal Sea Foods Makes Its Midwest Debut.

The beloved New England seafood brand has opened its first Midwest location along Chicago’s vibrant Riverwalk in the River North neighborhood. This highly anticipated launch marks a significant milestone for Legal Sea Foods and its parent company, PPX Hospitality Brands, which owns the renowned Smith & Wollensky restaurant next door.

This new establishment brings upscale, casual New England charm to Chicago, featuring breathtaking riverfront views and inviting outdoor spaces at the Marina Towers. The design pays homage to the architectural significance of Marina City, locally called the “corncob buildings,” with an interior that embraces the building’s signature curves. Colors and light fixtures emit a bright, modern Eastern Seaboard ambiance. A notable highlight includes a striking two-story copper staircase with integrated slats, seamlessly connecting the lower-level bar to the sushi and oyster bar upstairs.
