Robyn has been doing what she loves and helping her clients achieve their goals for the last 14 years, and has always had a driven and focused career path in mind. As a young girl, rather than attending summer camp, she would spent her summers working on residential construction sites alongside her real estate investor father. It was then she knew that a career in architecture was in her future. The Florida native received a Bachelors of Design in Interior Design from the University of Florida, then went on to earn a Masters of Architecture from Boston Architectural College.

As a licensed architect, Robyn has worked on national projects. At Phase Zero Design, she is an Associate Project Architect and doubles as a Project Manager. Her focus is mainly retail stores and mixed-use retail center spaces with her portfolio ranging from small retail stores to booming retail centers and everything in between. For Robyn, the most rewarding part of being an architect is seeing the development of a project from concept to construction, as well having the ability and expertise to take any project to its maximum potential no matter the scale. Robyn is fortunate to have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, so each day in the office is different—it keeps her engaged and on her toes.

What inspires you most about your field?

What has kept me coming back over the years is the potential for a new challenge everyday. As an architect, you are always on your toes. I am inspired by no day being the same, and enjoy any opportunity to use my past experience and skills to tackle new obstacles.

Describe the moment you realized architecture was for you.

I have known since I was sixteen years old that I wanted to be an architect. Growing up, I loved examining floor plans in residential real estate brochures—thinking what I would do differently, and could make these spaces more intriguing.

What makes you most proud about being a Phase Zero Design employee?

What brought me to Phase Zero, and has kept me here, is the team we have built. It is engrained in our culture to always be supporting one another, but not afraid to challenge each other to create the best possible designs for our clients.
